I like the theme, characters, art, tone and the idea of piecing the story together by tackling areas in different orders, but I think I would need those elements wrapped in a completely different package to enjoy this one anywhere near as much as Prey. I turned off multiplayer then decided I probably wasn't going to have any fun in the game offline, either, lol. After I finally got through the 3 or 4 tutorial loops, I start my first non guided loop (apart from forcing me to sacrifice some gear, lol) and 1 second out of the tunnel in the morning excursion I'm already invaded and getting spawn camped when I have almost no guns or ammo, no abilities.

They kept teleporting, small jumps like due to lag but even while offline? Plus they can't go through doorways, and in general were acting absolutely weird, which made every firefight feel like crap. I don't know if it was lag or what, but the enemies seemed completely broken. I didn't enjoy going back to each map more than once, they didn't seem very interesting. It feels like 4 maps with 3/4 of each map locked off, making exploration frustrating even when not being hunted. playing as Julianna is fun but it's a shame you can only play her on levels with visionnaries: I needed to play exactly 100 games, winning 31 to get to max level as Julianna and the lack of level diversity gets tiring in the endĪfter really loving Prey and seeing all the praise I was pretty excited for this, but finally playing it, it feels half-baked to me. playing as Julianna comes a bit late, I understand it's spoilery but they should have found a way to switch characters sooner even with the small pool of slabs I mostly used Shift (to explore) and Nexus (to clean maps faster) as Colt Aether and Havoc as Julianna exploring too much can 'break' some leads: like you find step 4 of a lead without even knowing it and it validates step 1,2 and 3 no kill runs seem useless during progression as you can get good stuff from some observers: I was cleaning every maps to explore freely vsync doesn't seem to work ingame, I had to force it in nvidia config panel then game was smooth I just got some minor issues with the game:

I had great fun with the game, I liked the gameplay and the concept: I have a tendency to enjoy repeating levels just to get 1 weapon with a different perk (btw is there any way to get the Strelok Verso with hearts skin as Colt without killing Julianna? I only got the rose one everytime I did armory runs). This was a solid like 7.5 game hopefully since it seems this did well we can get uh something that isn't deathloop in the future or just without the loop since that really didnt matter

Lack of different enemies to fight and the awful menu's and a bit of jank of not being able to flow using your powers better makes this feel like the jankest game they've done Liked all the voice acting and level design was top notch even if the 60s vibe creeps me out it was fun exploring just like in other Arkane games i would still pick this over dishonored since i don't like the look of it but Prey over all of them for Arkane games Just watched the perfect loop since i had mostly everything lined up sadly it didn't seem all that different and sheesh that ending Well i sunk in about 20hrs into this from when i got it for 30bucks CAD on Black Friday enjoyable game first few hours kinda suck but it was intense once you get out of the tutorial hours the looping gets fun finding new powers/upgrades to make a build even if i feel the slots are limiting to stop you from being too OP though that didn't stop me from just being a knifing powerhouse that couldn't die by just gaining health back from melee attacks ,a certain night level i just spent 10mins just killing everyone with much effort so that was the point were i was like yep i had my fill because i can't see why i won't just play like this because outside of real player invaders nobody is a major threat anymore unless im careless lol
